We are conveniently located in Cherry Log, Ga just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, Ga.

Direct lakefront AND stellar mountain views... a rare find in North GA!
Featuring an upscale but cozy vibe at our modern rustic cabin with everything you need to feel at home.
From adventuring on the lake or cooking your own meals in our overly equipped kitchen, to relaxing on one of the many porches taking in the unsurpassed views - we've got you covered.
We are also in the perfect location to explore everything the area has to offer!
Overlook at Hidden Lake features 2700 sq feet of interior space with another 2700 sq feet of deck space! The living areas are spread out amongst 3 levels with lots of room to make yourself at home. Each level is connected by interior and exterior stairs.
INTERIOR
When building the cabin, we focused on larger living/gathering areas since spending time together is one of the best parts of a mountain vacation.
We have 3 bedrooms (king, king, queen) and a loft (3 twins). The sofa in the lower living area is a sleeper as well. Comfortably sleeps 9-11 if you include the sleeper sofa.
*King bed may replace one of the queens starting in August/September... please reach out if this is important to you.*
The main level has a living area with a large sectional and fireplace, the kitchen (that has every gadget you can possibly think of), a dining area that seats 10 and an oversized island with 4 barstools - since everyone always ends up in the kitchen! There is also a half bath and laundry room on this level. We also have a mud room for those lake and waterfalls days. :-)
The highlight of this level is the expansive deck with another fireplace, a sectional couch and dining for 8. And THE VIEW! Our view is of Rich Mountain and the lake, something you don't see every day in this area.
Our lower level features 10 foot tall ceilings with two bedrooms (queens) and a full bath with bathtub and dual sinks. Both bedrooms have access to the deck on this level, perfect for sneaking in the sunrise over the mountains.
So much fun happens in the living space! You'll find an air hockey table, arcade game (who doesn't love Ms. Pac-Man?!), multiple board games, comfy sectional sleeper sofa, fireplace and wet bar. You can make a cocktail, read a book by the fire or have an epic game night.
The deck on this level is one of our favorite spots in the house - also with the same breathtaking views. There are two swing beds, four elevated captains chairs, a bar top for the railing and a hot tub.
The master bedroom and loft are located on the top level. The master bedroom (king) has impressive, vaulted ceilings and the loft has two twin beds and a trundle. There is another full bath on this level with a rain head shower and dual sinks.
We have an additional large deck that has corn hole boards and a seating area.
EXTERIOR
One of the most stunning and unique offerings of Overlook at Hidden Lake is the lighted path leading down to the lake. It starts at the bottom of the house with a wood burning fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs. The path winds down to the lake where you'll find the dock with a Solo Stove, 4 more Adirondack chairs, two kayaks and one canoe with a separate little launching area for the vessels.
We've spent entire days down at the lake, whether you want to go out on the water or just relax... taking in the same view of Rich Mountain from a different vantage point.
String lights and path lights are automatically on from dusk to dawn.
ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
We offer Starlink wifi, a whole house water filter and an EV charger.
For our littlest guests - we provide a pack n play, highchair and two baby gates.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to all interior and exterior parts of the cabin and property. Cabin is accessed via keypad, code will be provided a few days before arrival.
Other things to note
We have been vacationing in the mountains our whole lives and really wanted to build a home that has incorporated our favorite things from all those memorable trips.
The cabin is completely custom built and has been outfitted with anything and everything to surpass your expectations during your stay. We want you to feel at home and enjoy the beauty of North Georgia.

You will love our custom built cabin with phenominal mountain AND lake views!
Our home sleeps 11 people which is perfect for multiple families or couples.
There are 3 bedrooms - a king, a queen and another queen. Kids of all ages will love their own little area in the loft with 3 twin beds. There is also a pull out couch on the lower level. We have two full bathrooms (one tub, one shower) and two half baths.
Location can’t be beat - we are 10 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to downtown Ellijay with multiple attractions and activities close by. Roads to the cabin are completely paved with the exception of our small loop but it’s easy to navigate with any vehicle. The house is less than 5 minutes off the highway so you won’t be spending tons of time on long mountain roads. We have parking for multiple vehicles as well.
We knew we had to take advantage of the landscape surrounding the home so we have 3 covered, oversized porches. Swing to the breeze on daybeds, lounge on the sofas, enjoy meals al fresco, play outdoor games, make s’mores at the fireplace and of course, enjoy the hot tub! There are multiple access points to the porches both in and out, including the bedrooms, common living areas and 3 sets of outdoor stairs.
Two fireplaces inside and one on the porch wasn’t enough… a string light lit firepit with Adirondack chairs is another way to enjoy the natural scenery.
Our families want you to enjoy the home as your own while you’re there - the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to make your own meals, which you can enjoy at our large dining table.
Washer/dryer and a mud room were must haves when we designed the house if you like to be out and about hiking or enjoying the water activities in the summer.
We have been visiting North Georgia for many years and we’d love to share our favorite restaurants, hiking spots, waterfalls, festivals and all the amazing things the area has to offer once you book with us.
