Nice hotel with a boutique feel, traditional decor and basic furniture. Lovely staff freindly and super helpful. Little comforts like snack basket were welcome though a little too pricey. The restaurant served excellent home cooked type foods.

We were impacted by the UK Air Traffic Control technical issues. We were thrilled to booked the Crown Hotel. From the moment we stepped in we felt like we were at a family boutique hotel. The lovely lady at reception was so very kind, professional and caring. We explained what happened and she genuinely was sympathetic. Our room was fantastic and the bed and bedding were amazing. We popped down for an early dinner. Oh my goodness the food was amazing!!! We shared the fresh pea soup and the fried Haddock and chips. Everything came out pipping hot and fresh. We indulged with some sticky pudding for dessert. The front desk was able to let us borrow a converter. I packed ours in our check luggage as we didn’t anticipate this UK Airport issue. I will carry our converters in the future. Outstanding Crown Hotel, keep doing the amazing job you are doing 🤗🤗

Lovely pub, pricey but had a great value for money 3 course set meal for £23 (Running JAN/FEB25) Staff were brilliant. Bathroom & room are really well kept and modern. Only downside was the air con unit, turned it off but kept hearing a mundane noise throughout but still lovely place and would stay again if I’m in the area for work.
