"Roomy well located excellent breakfast "

"From check-in to check-out, this was a truly seamless experience. The team at reception were fantastic—engaging with our kids and making them feel genuinely special. Our room was ready ahead of schedule, which was a welcome bonus. The location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ walk from the London Eye, which made for a fun surprise on arrival. As with most of central London, public transport links were straightforward and convenient. The room was exactly as expected, with a fold-out bed already set up for the kids. Everything was clean, tidy, and in good working order. We hadn’t booked breakfast in advance as the standard rate was absurd, but once on-site we were offered it at £20 per adult per day with kids included for free. At that price, it was worth it—breakfast was decent quality and did the job. The shower deserves a special mention—hot, powerful, and stocked with products that actually smelled nice (a rarity in hotels!). Despite overlooking Waterloo station, the room was completely silent. Would happily stay again."

"We have been excited about CitizenM since we had a surprisingly great and completely satisfying experience at the San Francisco hotel and in London last week.. One of the big drivers was how low the cost was compared to other hotels. The $200 per night cost now seems a thing of the past because rates now average $400 per night in Chicago. This increased cost alone caused us not to book the CitizenM in Chicago even though we just paid $125 to get additional perks at its other hotels. We will now stay at the new super clean Swiss Hotel for $200 a night. Are these higher prices a result of Marriott recently purchasing CitizenM? I hope they don’t ruin the CitizenM concept."
