The staff was very nice & accomodating, the room very spacious, especially the bathroom, room very clean, good restaurants & shopping close. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Spacious rooms. Large bay windows that open. Comfortable/supportive beds with bed covers that "breath." Pleasant/helpful staff. Breakfast ok, but could be better. Heating/ac units have loud fans that we turned off at night.
Central/convenient location. Movie theater across street. Walking distance to restaurants and "downtown." Biking/walking trail along river starts one block from hotel.
Will stay next time in area.

Room was clean. Enjoyed the lounger chair instead of just a desk chair to sit in..
breakfast was great!
Nice pool (although a little cold) and hot tub was great.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating

We stopped for a mid-week one night stay. Only a couple other people were staying there and it felt like we had the whole place (17 rooms total) to ourselves. They have peaceful grounds along a river and a great patio just behind the historic house. The staff was friendly and informative. Japanese Gardens and a children's zoo are a short walk down the street (sidewalks all the way!) They offer a full hit breakfast if there are four or more rooms occupied, so we lucked out! Breakfast was fresh,...

This was our first trip and stay here and because the the kindness of the owners and the staff we will be back. We had a rental car that went bad and the owners and staff went above and beyond to help us with this. You have a customer for life. Thank you.

This place is special. It has a traditional charm that we enjoyed so much! This must have been quite the meeting place back in the day. The entire inside of the hotel is covered in carved wood paneling with crystal chandeliers and baby grand piano in the lobby. We got a suite, as we were in town for a competion with another family.
Every so often, theres just a random living room with comfy chairs and low lighting. Its got a little bit of a Shining vibe, ehich I thought was very cool! Very...

Nice clean room, plenty of space for two people, clean, well-stocked on the first day (we stayed 5 days). Despite being a little short-staffed on housekeeping (they asked us to bring dirty towels down ourselves for fresh if we wanted), it seemed otherwise business as usual for a hotel. The indoor pool was mostly empty, so the privacy was nice while we swam. Breakfast was typical fare for a hotel. Tasty enough for a bite before heading out to look around, though we skipped it the last couple of...
