"Budget hotel, and I would stay again.
My experience was thus:
Pros:
Cheap (cheapest room around)
Quiet (no one bothered me)
Cold (the air conditioning worked great; stayed cool in very hot summer days)
Location (walking distance to a Target, a sporting goods store, a steakhouse etc. It's not a sketchy area) Downtown Keene is just 5 minutes away. There are rotaries which you will likely have to drive through to get back and forth. The hotel price may attract ill-reputes, but everyone i saw...
"The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works.
Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...
