"The hotel is located in a superb position, on the side of a canal and a short walk into the historic town centre. All the staff were lovely. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide choice and well organised. The bar was well stocked and with a decent menu at reasonable prices. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. Staff were attentive and it was fun watching the ducks gallivanting around on the canal.
Our only complaint was the lack of ventilation. Our visit took place during a long heatwave and our room was very hot unfortunately. We were supplied with an electric fan which was the most inefficient one ever produced in the history of mankind. Consequently sleeping was difficult. Air conditioning would have been ideal… or a proper fan!"

Advise that you patk in the car park under the hotel, entrance is before the hotel car park entrance.

Our only issue was the under bed light! It kept flicking on and off all flipping night! Consequently we didn’t get much sleep. Such a shame as everything else was great."
