This is a hotel that is part of the services. The staff were fab & friendly. Other guests were a tad noisy & there didn't seem to be much sound proofing. I'd definitely recommend upgrading to anything other than a basic room, if there are two of you, our room was compact & bijou. Clean & tidy though I missed the fact you had to put a sign on your door if you wanted housekeeping to enter your room.

Only minor issue was being on the side of the petrol station and the tankers & lorries driving in all through the night. However, was to be expected in a Service Station. What fantastic staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly. Room was clean and comfortable - we had the family room which was a main bed (huge!) and a separate room with 2 singles. Bathroom was a little tired but plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast was continental style, plenty of it and for an extra £2 you can have a bacon or sausage bap. Easy to find - in the service area off the motorway. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we're in the area.
