"Our business group (and spouses) enjoyed a marvelous retreat at the Hope Scott Wing at Abbotsford. We'd seen the general pictures of Abbotsford, which are stunning. But, we were particularly and pleasantly surprised to find our VRBO accommodations at the Hope Scott Wing to be excellent! The house is both comfortable and impressive. "Me and my 5 friends had a lovely time away. There were stunning views and the house was large and comfortable. Fun board games and a lovely hot tub. We all agreed that the main thing that let it down for us was cleanliness. We had to hoover and clean when we got there - there was a lot of dog hair (we didn't bring a dog). "Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem.
