The property was well maintained and the view of the Hudson River was perfect! We loved using the hot tub. The property manager was great! My family had a fun time. 😊

Beautiful house, beautiful view!
This was an amazing place to relax. The kitchen is gorgeous and lovely to cook in, and the fire pit was a real treat on our last evening. Beds were comfy, too!
The home was very clean upon arrival with charming details that made it feel like someone’s home. The kitchen is spacious and stocked with everything you need to cook and grill. Gorgeous views of the Hudson River made it fun and comfortable to gather at the dining table. Comfy beds with AC in two rooms. The night air was great, as was the hot tub.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Due Diligence: The good, the bad, and the ugly
We would give this property a rating of ‘below average.’ I did not take the time for due diligence, and rented this place without thorough investigation of the listing. The Good: View of River across the road; probably the best equipped kitchen of anyplace we’ve stayed. The Bad: sticky kitchen counter we had to clean before using; no air conditioning; the full & twin are a bunk bed - coffin-like; key box was hanging open when we arrived & access code did not work. The Ugly: no cell phone service; basement/lower level was unusable & musty, with odor wafting up to the main living area; photos of the property fail to disclose an unsightly junk pile next to the driveway, stained ceiling tiles, mildew on the basement fridge, dirt & spider webs in many places and many other less desirable features.
Look carefully at fees - Be aware thirty percent of the cost of this place was for fees and cleaning, and the cleaning fee was not worth it.

Great place, great time, super time of year
We had a great time at Riverside Bliss! Great time of year, right on the Hudson, fishing in nearby Loon Lake, walking Palmer’s Pond trail, and just hanging out with family in the house, enjoying the very nice hot tub, the fire pit by the river, walking on the roads around the house at the old campgrounds or across the river.
This is our second time up here and this is the nicest place we’ve stayed in. For the price, it’s a really great deal! All lights were off during the day because of all the natural light. Only thing is there is no AC, so if you get hot easily, this is not a great place if you’re staying in during the day. With all windows open and the upstairs vent on upstairs to get heat out, it gets really nice and cool at night for sleeping. The beds are super comfortable too
