"My daughter and I stayed here while attending the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant. Traveling between Ripley and Point Pleasant was really easy. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was really easy, just 2 roads. There were lots of places to eat nearby, as well has a Wal-Mart, and several gas stations. Surprisingly the hotel was sold out all weekend... but other than a few minutes of loudness late Friday night (literally just a few minutes), I never noticed any neighboring noise. The office area smelled liked baked cookies or something sweet (really was loving that)... The room we were in was very spacious with lovely furniture and appliances. I could have easily seen this room as a well-furnished apartment. I was surprised to see a doe with a fawn in the little garden area behind the hotel... and they had a groundhog buddy that showed up a lot. It is a city location... seeing wildlife so close was amazing. If I'm ever back in the area, I won't hesitate to stay here again."

Cozy Cabin w/ Pool Table & Fire Pit

"This cabin was just what we were hoping for: off the beaten path, no one else close by so our dog could be off-leash without any worries, and incredibly cozy. The drive out can feel intimidating if you aren't used to WV backroads and be wary of recent rains as it will impact the drive. We had a wonderful weekend exploring, grilling out, playing pool and cards in the cabin, and getting to have the doggo with us. The only parts that weren't 5-star were that the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and most items used needed to be cleaned prior, the pool table was great but you had to be creative on your shots where there wasn't QUITE enough room, and the towels provided had stains and holes. This is not a knock on the property but there's also no TV --we didn't need one as we had a laptop and the internet was great. That said, all appropriate for a hunting cabin out in the woods. A fantastic cabin to get away from it all!"

"The Cedar House was perfect for a large crowd. We used this for a retreat team meeting The kitchen was well equipped. Not great for single people. Not good for marriage retreats. little to no cell service and no wifi We will definitely be back."
