"This is an absolutely gorgeous place with a beautiful view and close to many little boutiques and shops that one looks for in a small town. The only small criticism I would make is that the siding has been changed to blue/turquoise, and was hard to find since the picture shows white siding."

Despite being downstairs, there are views of the Cheticamp harbor from 2 bedrooms and it is extremely well furnished, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, well designed and well maintained. "We based out of Cheticamp for the 3rd stop of a 3 part Nova Scotia family vacation and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! So many beds/ bedrooms that we all had our space, and a fabulous upstairs sitting area with full windows and view of the st Lawrence and a family of seals. The house feels like a home and is exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you could want. "We are a group of 9 ladies over 65. We get together each year for a getaway. This property was great for us. There are several gathering spaces, lots of room, a pool table and a lovely fireplace. There was lots of dry wood available for our use. Thanks very much for that. The view is excellent, beds are great and the kitchen is very well stocked. Everything we needed was there. "Confusion on date of check-in @ 5pm, having to wait for a team to arrive to prepare it for us, but we’re fairly compensated for it. Three bedrooms with pull out couch in living room, but the third bedroom had wash/dryer & hot water tank in it. It had everything we needed, but could have been a lot cleaner.
