Little outdated motel. But overall very clean and staffs are very friendly. I would like to stay there again, as it's very close to the beach. Quick tips: don't come in weekend, it will be very crowded.

Hotel is out-dated, breakfast is expensive. My room’s air conditioning can only either turn on OR off, unable to control temperature. When it was really cold, I can only turn it off during night time then a terrible smell in the room and even woke me up as it affected my breathing problem. The view from the room was really nice, I heard some pounding sounds from above during late night.

Nothing in the description indicated that Cheung Chau had no motor vehicles. We were faced with having to schlep 6 pieces of luggage from the ferry terminal to the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel staff was able to help. The Warwick is situated on a cliff overlooking the harbor but requires a steep uphill climb to get to the lobby. The room was clean but the facilities are old and in desperate need of repair. Meals at the hotel were not good. The air conditioning could never reach a happy medium. Also, there was a constant flow of medical helicopters to the hospital next door. The only part worth citing for excellence was the staff. Generally helpful and friendly. We loved Hong Kong but neither Cheung Chau nor the Warwick will be on our visit list.

shower not working, pillow too high, the carpet is old ( the rooms with balcony has already got a wooden floor but not all the rooms) Everything is quite run down. The hotel could be a nice one, need to refurbish, and the old rooms should not be used anymore. It will only further destroy the reputation of the hotel
