"A fun, if very rustic, couples retreat. This was an unusual property. The room was only 12'X12' with a couch/hide-a-bed, microwave, minifridge/freezer, water dispenser, and AC/heater unit. The A/C was a pleasant surprise. The sink did NOT work - it wasn't hooked up to water and the drain led to a bucket under the sink. Water was in the dispenser (hot and cold) and 2 sealed bottles of drinking water, plus. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, silverware, dishes, cooking oil, and basic spices. There was ice in the freezer. The "shower" outside was also not hooked up and the spigot was in a locked room so we couldn't operate it. We did spray off the pond water and do dishes with the hose. The "bathroom" was a port-a-potti that hadn't been cleaned in too long - very full. But it was well stocked with sanitizer, TP, and disinfectant spray. The kayaks, paddle boat, and rowboat did not disappoint. The dock was great, but it was only in about 3' of water so the diving board and water slide were not usable. In the basement, there were fishing poles and tackle. The lake is mucky for swimming but stocked with trout. The local ducks were friendly and entertaining. The sunsets were very pretty on the water. I wouldn't come here with kids or if you have a hard time navigating stairs or scrambles/gravely hillsides. Overall a unique and fun experience, if a little bit rough."
