I love love loved my Rommai Villa stay. The hosts were amazing! My villa and views were so beautiful. The homemade breakfast was very flavorful and made with love. The host offered to and from airport shuttle and a scooter was available for rent during my stay. I will miss Rommai Villa and my hosts, until my next visit. I highly recommend friends and family today stay here. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Rommai Villa!!!

Wonderful stay!

Stayed for one night and it was amazing! The villa is beautiful and the owners are so friendly and accommodating - they went out of their way to find us a taxi back to the villa and recommended wonderful restaurants. The rooms are stunning, and the ambiance is immaculate. Very peaceful and serene :-) thank you we had a wonderful time.

The grounds are incredibly gorgeous, the sound of the water is so relaxing at night. The hosts are very kind and helped arrange all the tours and transportation and cook an amazing breakfast. Our favorite villa is Thailand so far. 10/10

Wonderful guesthouse on the edge of Chiang Rai

Wonderful small guesthouse on the edge of Chiang Rai, relatively close to the airport. Super friendly owners who picked us up from the airport and told us about anything and everything that was going around. This meant we attended the local Buffalo festival, which was fascinating with excellent street food. They organised amazing Thai massages close to the local hot Springs which we reached on their free loan bikes. They recommended a superb restaurant close to the blue temple and the river. Lovely traditional bungalow, which was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and excellent shower. Highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Chiang Rai.

Great secluded villa with nice little extras

This was an amazing villa in a secluded area that was very quiet and nice. The people who work at this villa are very nice and accommodating. We got a free pickup from the airport, a pineapple drink when we arrived, and homemade breakfast every morning. The room itself was very nice and clean with a beautiful garden and furniture to sit on if you please. Would definitely stay here again.

Small owner operated guest houses. Wonderful people who’s goal is to make you feel at home. Very quiet place with comfortable beds. Fresh fruit and vegetables coming straight from the garden. Excellent choice of breakfast made for us at our choosing. Arranged tours with a wonderful driver. If in Chiang Rai we would not stay anywhere else.

Traditional Thia house renovated for guests

Traditional Thai house with super kind hosts. They only have 4 rooms which is understandable cause they renovated their house to serve as a mini hotel. All facilities are updated to a modern one (shower, bathroom, beds, air conditioner, etc.) Being remotely located, the access is a little uncomfortable unless you have a car but that is why it's surrounding is so serene.

This was an amazing 5 days. The staff was extremely accommodating, the owners were always there working and caring for the experience of each guest. The attentiveness was amazing. They always greeted you with a smile. The homemade breakfast each morning was so delicious. The property is like a botanical garden. It was a true pleasure to have stayed here and I look forward to another trip back here again!

Great Villa and Amazing Food!

I had the best experience here! The owners provided transportation pick up and airport drop off. The villa is located close to airport and a bit away from the city so if you're looking for a quiet escape this is the place! My room was clean and perfect with lots of outdoor space. Very tranquil! The owner is also the chef and cooks some of the best Thai food I had while visiting Northern Thailand. I hope to visit again.

Honeymoon Paradise

Fantastic stay. Extremely romantic! They took great care in making sure our every need was met. Great home cooked breakfast. Rooms are so spacious and great AC or lots of windows for air flow. They helped us plan all of our activities and facilitated transport for a full day of sight seeing. Location is outside of town, but easy access to the city with grab. Great with providing tips and went all out to surprise us with room decorations for our honeymoon!

We highly recommend this place

This place is located in the most peacefull and charming garden and the rooms are so wonderful, with a little porch outside every cabin. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and will do everything for you. For free they make the most delicious breakfast, which you choose the day before from a number of different dishes, you can choose between ordinary breakfast and traditional thai. Among other thing we one day borrowed the free bikes and took on a trip to the Baan Dam museum about 5 km. away on nice quite roads without much traffic. Definitely a place we would return to if we are going back to Chiang Rai.

An authentic northern Thailand experience

We showed up realizing we were to be the only guests for our 3 night stay; we felt to be treated very well. The food was amazing; the owners do a great job. We had the Coconut Villa, it was beautiful. Clean, spacious, authentic. The internet works well, but this is a place perfect for disconnecting. Read a book, enjoy your partners company, nap in the garden or on your terrace, eat amazing food on site or venture into the village for many options. If you have a car, or can ride the hotels bicycles, definitely go to the near by Ban Du public hot springs to soak your feet. The Thai massage at the hot springs is the best I ever had; authentic temple trained masseuses.

the owner and daughter is so friendly and give good hospitality.. the welcome cold coconut is a plus welcoming drink from the hot days. everything was neat and well taken of although the place is a bit far out from city. my partner twisted her leg while going to the pool due to even ground at the field going down the slope to the pond area. but overall , the host put up a good hospitily , they also upgraded us to a better room which is a wise move since the room is not taken.good marketing strategy too. The breakfast is well taken off. overall the host Kon Noi make u a welcome guest.. will give a 10/10 for their hospitality.

Heaven on Earth !!!

This resort is the. Hidden gem of Thailand !!! I would truthfully rate it a 12 out of 10 !!! Ive traveled all around the World and never stayed anywhere as beautiful as this ... Free Homemade breakfast every morning !!! The room and resort are spotless !!! The best hosts and owners ive ever met before !!! Amazing and incredible flower gardens and nature surroundings !!! Quiet ..private .. and peacefull !!! Im really at a loss of words trying to describe how much i enjoyed my 6 day stay here !!! I had tears in my eyes as i drove away at the end of my stay !!! We arrived in Chiang Rai beginning of November. The place is a bit further outside the city center (approximately 20 minutes by car) but the host will arrange pick up for you from the bus terminal. When we arrived we were greeted politely by the couple with a fresh coconut which is a nice gesture. The place is very well-maintained with a beautiful garden. The cottage itself is clean and quite cute. Breakfast was included and was tasty every time. The only thing that you need to make sure is to communicate with the couple very clearly as they do not speak any English. Luckily, they use Google translate to converse with you but do double check with them every time you speak to them to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, the stay was really pleasant as the couple is friendly and pays attention to cleanliness.

Room was comfortable and their grounds were very pleasant and peaceful.The air in the morning smelled of blossoms. Family run business. Only about 20 minutes car ride from downtown Chiang Rai. Easy and very inexpensive GRAB car ride. Free shuttle to the airport also. Had a very relaxing stay.

Excellent séjour

Les hôtes, une petite famille, sont très accueillants et arrangeants. Un petit coin de verdure et de calme, où nous avons pu nous reposer un peu. Chambre très confortable, petit déjeuner excellent. Service de lavage de linge et location de scooter bon marché très pratique, cela évite de courir après un loueur de moto.
