My husband and I rented out this unit for a few days to be close to my brother‘s wedding venue, and the location is fantastic. It was just five minutes from the wedding venue. The unit itself was very clean minus some hair in the bathroom on the floor near the shower, that we cleaned up, but overall the studio was clean with a full kitchen, and washer and dryer, which was useful. I had a huge issue, however, with the neighbors in the unit above. It seemed like their young children played all day and night, making noise and jumping, which made it very difficult to sleep and the noise from the North Avenue traffic, which was to be expected is quite loud. If you can get over the noise, the stay was quite pleasant and cozy. There are many stores and restaurants in the area as well, which made it very convenient.

This is a very nice space for 1 or 2 people or a small family. It's very clean, modern, and is equipped with nice utensils and appliances. Parking is onsite and lot is well-lit at night. The only downside is its proximity to a busy street which might make it difficult for some to sleep. I never felt unsafe here and would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Convenient

Very nice unit. Clean and comfortable. The location right along a busy street isn’t ideal, but we didn’t find the noise to be an issue. Convenient parking and a great location for access to a lot of great restaurants and not too far from Chicago.

Amazing stay for one

This property was amazing for my solo trip to Chicago to see Beyoncé. Location felt safe and secure, check in and out process was seamless. I tried writing the property manager via the VRBO app before check in and never got a response but that ended up not being a big deal at all. Only “complaint” would be to add a full length mirror somewhere.

The property is as advertised. It was clean and in a nice location with easy access to public transportation. The reason for a couple of 4 ratings. There were no check in instructions sent other than the access code. This was confusing as the front door has a keypad but there is no indication that can’t enter that way. To get to the outside entry door but you have to go all the way around to the back of the building to access it. (There is a gate but that is locked as well). This became apparent by process if elimination. Looking back at the pictures with the ad, it shows the entrance with an arrow in the picture where it shows the parking space. We didn’t have a car and therefore never went to the back of the building. Some details (I’m not being picky, just supplying extra details that may be helpful). The coffee make is a kuerig so I suggest bringing or buying pods. None are provided as often is the case at different properties. The only items in the unit that relate to provided food or drink is a water pitcher with a filter and salt and pepper. For those sho need it dark to sleep, there are no room darkening shades. All that being said, I definitely would recommend this property particularly to anyone looking for a home base type situation.
