The chef prepares wonderful meals that provide many different choices and the food quality is outstanding. "What a lovely place. A 17th century hacienda waiting to invite adventuresome guests. While only 8 km outside bustling Valladolid, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. We were the only guests the three nites we were there which is a shame because it really is a lovely spot and all the staff is there to make your visit comfortable. We loved it"

"Allan has built an incredible Mayan home on the edge of the jungle yet close to Valladolid. The place is not for those seeking a hotel-like experience but we enjoyed the place for its uniqueness, the many animals, and for his amazing stories and breakfast.
