Centrally located in a quiet, residential area of Chichester yet close to all of the cities cafes, shops and restaurants. Sleeping 8, the house has 4 large bedrooms, all with storage and 3 of the 4 rooms are en-suite. There is a modern, well equipped kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, gas hob and a large fridge. The house benefits from two lounges, both with log burners and you are welcome to bring your own logs. With a spacious feel, the house is a great base for friends & family to come together for a birthday celebration, event or weekend away.

Ground Floor -There is a large entrance and hallway with a cosy lounge to the right hand side. Inside the lounge is a log burner and three comfy sofas surrounding it. You are very welcome to bring along or buy your own wood for the log burner as this is not supplied. Large bookcases are within the room with books which you are welcome to help yourself to during your stay. The space has large windows with shutters you can close for privacy as this room is on the ground level and faces the road at the front of the property.
Through the downstairs hallway is a convenient modern toilet & sink.
There is a spacious, well equipped and very modern kitchen with a double oven, dishwasher, boiler tap, gas hob and a large fridge. The middle island in the kitchen can also be used as a breakfast bar with stools. There is access to a small courtyard from nearby the kitchen and the windows of the kitchen overlook this area.
The kitchen leads through to an open plan, light and spacious open plan lounge and dining area. This is a great, social space for entertaining. The lounge area has seating around a second log burner and smart TV. This area has a very modern feel and there is a oval dining table and 8 chairs. The dining table is located next to large windows, letting in plenty of natural light and overlooks the second, larger courtyard area which also has a charcoal bbq/firepit and a gas BBQ for guests to use and outdoor seating.
There is a utility room downstairs including washing machine, tumble dryer and a large freezer.
A back door leads directly to the walled, secure courtyard and a gardener is responsible for the upkeep of the courtyard areas.
First Floor:- Up the staircase which has a beautiful globe light, reflecting stunning patterns up to the ceiling, is the first floor with three bedrooms and a bathroom. All bedrooms are large, light and three of the four benefit from having an en-suite - the fourth has a private bathroom on the same floor.
The first bedroom located at the top of the stairs is really large with high ceilings and traditional wood panelling on the walls. There is generous storage, a king size bed and the large windows in the room let in lots of light. This bedroom is located at the front of the house. There is a door through to the en-suite which is simply stunning. A large room, decorated with modern fixtures, yet with traditional wooden flooring and panelling on the walls. The bathroom not only has a bath, but also a large shower and double sink.
The second bedroom overlooks the courtyard area at the back of the house and has large, period windows. This is another spacious bedroom with a king size bed, high ceilings and a decorative fireplace. There is also a modern en-suite shower, toilet and sink.
The third bedroom on this floor is another lovely double or twin bedroom in the eaves - mind your head if you are tall! It has solid wooden floors and exposed beams. The room has a private, modern bathroom with shower, sink and toilet located opposite. Please let us know if you would like the room to be made up as a twin in advance of your stay.
2nd Floor Floor - Up another flight of stairs towards the converted attic is the fourth bedroom which is large and has lots of natural light from the windows. This room is very spacious and has exposed beams - mind your head if you are tall! It also benefits from a modern en-suite with bath, sink and toilet.
Dogs are very welcome to stay free of charge! We ask that they remain off of the furniture. We provide dog treats, a water and food bowl and towels for you to dry them after a nice walk! In the courtyard you will find an outdoor hose and tap so you can wash them off!
A welcome hamper is left out for our guests upon arrival which consists of - Tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, cloths, hand wash, cooking spray, dishwasher tablets, rinse aid, matches, sun cream, tissues, hand sanitiser, bin bags, scrubbing brush, salt, pepper, fire lighters, pen and tinfoil as well as a some goodies including chocolates and sweets! We also include shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and hand wash at each sink.
We can provide a travel cot (please provide your own linen) and high chair along with baby packs 0-2 years and toddler packs 2-4 years. Items are subject to availability and requested in advance for short stays only. All items are to be left in the property at the end of your stay. They will be cleaned and sterilised between each use.

Parking is limited as this is a city centre property. There is metered, on street parking outside the house which helps with loading and unloading your bags. Monday – Saturday parking is for permit holders only or pay at the machine for 1 hour. Outside of these times you can park here.
Alternatively, there are 4 public carparks nearby all within a 4 min walk of the property. They are all outdoor, without height restrictions. Long stay carparks which are slightly cheaper are located slightly further afield.

Local Area
The house is situated in a very quiet residential quarter of Chichester.
Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it offers easy access to the many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that Chichester has to offer. The Cathedral city includes the acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre, modern art, and lots of history.
The location of the townhouse offers incredibly convenient access to the South Downs countryside, events at Goodwood and to the stunning South Coast – Pagham Beach is just a 20 minute drive away and the renowned dunes of West Wittering a 20 minute drive.
The Goodwood Estate is just 10 minutes drive, which offers a myriad of events throughout the season including motor-racing (Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival & Members Meetings) and horse-racing. There are buses and many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.
If you fancy a round of golf the Chichester Golf Club is a 12 minute drive away and offers indoor and outdoor adventure golf as well as their tower and cathedral courses for the keen golfer!
Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.
The city walls walk which encircle Chichester and the cathedral are great if you like to soak up the history of the city.
Chichester canal is a 10 minute walk away and from here you can either walk, bike or take a boat trip through to Chichester Marina.
Pallant Gallery is also a lovely place to visit and is located only a few feet away from the house!
Chichester's City Gate is an area near the train station which has restaurants, a cinema, trampolining and also bowling.
Getting there
Chichester train station offers connections to London Victoria in just 90 minutes, and once you arrive, there are plenty of places to explore on local bus routes.
