"The staff was really friendly! Check-in was easy and pleasant. The room was huge, but the hardwood floor was really dirty and the bottoms of our socks were black after being in the room for a few hours. You can tell the room was older but it served its purpose and we were comfortable otherwise. Breakfast wasn't great because there were no diabetic friendly options. We can't have sugary cereals or waffles but there didn't seem to be a kitchen where the staff could make breakfast so they were just operating within their limitations. if we came back to Chiefland, we would stay here again. "

"Well I came there expecting for them to have a Spa. Because they said that had one on their website. Then I called them before I even came to get the prices for the Spa and they said that the person was not there that day. To me to call back. But it was already time for me to go there so I told myself I would see the prices when I get there. So i get there and there is no Spa. I was very upset. Then they said that they had free breakfast in the morning. But there was no actual breakfast. Only cakes and I am a diabetic. So i could not eat there. Also I went to take my shower and it took about 20 minutes for the water to get warm. The shower had no water pressure. It took me a hr and a half just to take my shower. The restaurant was good there. "

"Yes parking was right in front of your room. Pet friendly. Owners are great, Debbie went out of her way to make sure everything was good. There still working on the property because of Hurricane Helene & Milton. We felt safe & comfortable. It's an older Florida style motel. We will go back nxt year."

"We booked a stay at Black Prong Resort for my husband’s birthday and it could not have been more perfect. The property is stunning and so peaceful—exactly what we needed to slow down and enjoy the weekend. It felt private, cozy, and really special. We made some great memories here and can’t wait to come back!"

"The location was perfect, coffee pots and pods available. House was clean and we loved being able to use the garage so loading our cooler in was not such a chore. Weather was nice so we enjoyed the back seating area too. We will be back."

"We thought we might be able to come and cook some meals but the kitchen is not really set up for that. I.e. only a microwave available. Everything is close by and people were friendly. It was great to walk everywhere and definitely slow paced and relaxing. It was great for what we wanted. A get away from the hustle and bustle. "
