Beautiful and well loved cabin!
We enjoyed our time at Salt Creek Cabin. We loved South Point Look Out Trail, but it was well over 30 minutes away. Had a kids trail, very unique. Host suggested games for kiddos, much appreciated! Carli and Jim

Quiet, Private, Clean, and Cute
This was a very comfortable and cute place to stay when we visted Hocking Hills. Very easy to get in, the hot tub was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and it had modern convieneces such as the Roku TV! The back deck overlooking the creek while listening to the birds and water trickelong was so relaxing while enjoying a nice glass of wine! Would 100% recommend this place to my best friend and stay here again!

Perfect little updated cabin!
The property was in a nice quiet secluded area. The covered deck was very enjoyable. Had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Great location, centrally located between the great restaurants and cute shops in downtown Chillicothe and great hiking at Hocking Hills. Will definitely be returning!

Private and serene getaway
The cabin was clean and had every amenity needed. The best part was the deck view to Salt Creek. Went late April 2042. Lush with new growth and full of birds singing the whole time. The rear of the cabin is private and nature galore! The front includes the access road the cabin is at the end of. It has the drive, fire pit, and a great view of the night stars. Everything on one level in the cabin. We felt very safe. Jen and Derrick had great communication, helpful tips, and Derrick even jumped my car within minutes of me reaching out.

Cozy Creek Trip
We love this spot! A little secluded with the driveway, field, and creek-side placement. The cabin was cozy and perfect for a girl's weekend. The hot tub in the morning for the sunrises were a great way to start the day before our hiking in Hocking Hills!

Great spring break getaway!
Our family of 6 stayed here for a few days over spring break. This 400 sqft cabin was the perfect base of operations for us as this trip was primarily to visit Hocking Hills and surrounding attractions. We hiked at the park during the days and came back to the cabin in the late afternoon, where we enjoyed the hottub, hiking down to the creek, having campfires out front, and maybe watching a little TV. I must admit that if we were planning on hanging around the VRBO all day long, we would have been squeezed for space with 4 kids and 2 adults. But we put the older kids on the futon, the baby in a pack-n-play in the kitchen, and us parents got the bed! Seriously, it was the perfect place! I see why they got 5 star reviews! Taking a morning dip in the hottub was super picturesque with the fog rising off the creek and the sun coming up above the hills! The cabin looked very rustic from the outside, but the interior was clean, modern, and newly updated! To top it off, the hosts were amazing. We informed them we live 4 hours away and asked about some good places to hike and have adventures. They not only gave us detailed trails and locations, they told us which ones were the neatest, which were paved (easy with little ones) and how many we could reasonable knock out per day. Their advice was excellent! Although next time we'll take a whole week in order to get through the entire park! We'll be back!
