"At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals....

"We stopped for one night on route from Canberra to Melbourne. It was a perfect stop and great respite for our 3 year old daughter. The animals are amazing and the hosts were very friendly! Just make sure you bring lots of warm clothes if visiting in winter."

"This is close to the city centre. Reception was friendly and helpful and cheery, which at 8pm at night for a motel, was surprising and appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean and provided the usual basics, the coffee sachets weren't the usual Nescafe,can t remember what they were but they were better."
