"Cottage was enhanced by the owner's beautiful gardens - particularly the rose garden right outside the cottage door. I spent long days in class, so enjoyed coming back to this lovely setting. Host was very prompt in replies. Property was clean and attractive. It was a short distance to the Pacific NW Art School where I was spending my days."

"Very quiet and felt isolated, loved the Nespresso! Shower dial was not very ergonomic- easy to nudge and totally change the temperature. Overall, very clean, comfy bed good living space enjoyed our time there although the checkout time was a bit early and by the time I saw the option to check out later for an additional $20 the offer was gone! "This was a wonderfully clean and comfortable cottage. Everything was as described in the listing (or even better!). The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the birds and deer in the yard. Veronica made the cottage feel so welcoming and added so many thoughtful touches with anything we might possibly need. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to stay on the Olympic Peninsula!"

"We were their for my grandson's graduation. The VRBO was basically just a place to sleep. It was very adequate for our purpose and although we did not cook their it was well appointed for that purpose. We were quite comfortable there and I liked seeing the ferries come and go."

"We absolutely loved the peace and quiet of this rental. I am always a little hesitant on renting a property with the owner nearby just because sometimes they don’t feel private. That wasn’t the case here as it felt very much like a oasis. The owner built this place with so much love and detail. They were helpful with recommendations too. "We had a wonderful stay. There was an issue with the heater not working when we arrived. However, the host was quick to respond and within an hour had made alternate arrangements for heat that worked fine. While the place was clean and nice inside, the outside needs some work. The ramp up to the front of the cabin, as well as the porch, is in need of repair. Also, while an easy walk to downtown, the site IS NOT on the beach, in the mountains, or on the waterfront as the site info states."

"My week vacation at Bay Cottage was wonderful and relaxing. Ed was a great host, giving me so much helpful information about the room, property and Port Townsend. I was welcomed with fresh cut flowers and a plate of fresh berries with homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies. Enjoyed the cottage’s nice private deck to sit on as well as the community patio overlooking the beach and water. Many, many thanks!"
