"The red barn had every amenity and was very comfortable. If you are looking for seclusion and privacy this is the place for you. It was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable with an ample variety of pillows. Mary left both cinnamon buns and cookie dough in the fridge for the guests. "We stayed for 2 nights. It was a wonderful experience. We even discussed going again. The place was clean and quiet. There were cobwebs on the fan, but overall it was very nice. The quietness of the area was the best part. The TV stopped working at one point, but we were already getting ready to leave. Next time, we want to try the serenity yurt and see how the two compare. Check-in was easy and the drive was easy."

"We needed to be close to Mission Hospital and this VRBO's location was ideal. It was a good size for three of us. As noted, the kitchen is small but it served the purpose of being able to accommodate breakfast and snacks. Great communication with the host, who lives on the property. Would stay here again."

"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

"It was a wonderful cabin in the woods. Super quaint and super clean. We'd definitely recommend and we will return. The only thing that was a small problem was, it is pet friendly BIT there is really nowhere much to walk your dog (at least where we were)."

"This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! "
