"Property needs an update, it was clean but bathrooms in very poor shape. Breakfast was really disappointing. I did not expect a gourmet meal, but selection was minimal and not good. Bad yogurt, waffles tasted off, eggs watery and sausage over cooked. Outside area very convenient but overall not sure I’d recommend"

"I enjoyed my breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and oatmeal. There were a number of other choices I could have made, plus excellent coffee. The staff was very helpful in honoring my request for a room change because the original room would have been facing a street with lots of traffic noise. They also had discount coupons for the Texas Roadhouse restaurant that is within walking distance. My room was perfect -- very spacious and clean. There are several hotels in that general location but I will definitely look to stay there next time."

"This was a nice place to stay at a really good price point. To be upfront, we only stayed one night, so this is just a brief snapshot. The bed was really comfortable. The mattress was a perfect balance of firm and soft. The pillows were plentiful and the sofa comfortable. The room smelled fresh when we came in. We saw an ironing board, but we didn't see an iron. Maybe it was in a drawer or cabinet we failed to look in. The outdoor trash was overflowing, with several pizza boxes, bags of soda/beer cans, and other garbage sitting at one of the side entrances. We assumed it was due to the evening hour (9:45 p.m.). However, when we checked out the next day, all that garbage, plus several more items, was loaded beside the side door. We didn't check out until 10:00 am, so the trash pileup sat for 12 hours+. The only other issue was the mop marks near the tub's caulk line beside the toilet. It's happened to me, as well--mopping an area that hasn't been swept and finding a line of dirt, hair, etc left behind. Unfortunately, I noticed a faint odor of old urine when using the bathroom from the time we arrived until we left. Other than those two issues, our stay was nice."
