"We went with the less expensive room with two twin beds. We didn’t need much- a clean room, a good bed, and a shower. We came in around 7pm and left the next morning around 10 am. It’s a lovely old hotel in the historic district of Cottonwood. It has a courtyard with tables and chairs for longing and visiting. Check-in and out was easy. We had the same young lady both times, and she was great. You do park on the street or in a close-by public parking area and you may have stairs to climb if you’re on the second floor. I found it to be wonderfully quaint and quiet, and of course, affordable. The room had a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker, along with a big screen TV. It was a clean and efficient and I would most definitely stay here again. Bonus…..there are many shops, pubs and restaurants that surround the the Iron Horse."

"I love that this is an older style motel where you park in front of your individual room. The room has been updated. It was very clean, and had very nice towels. They even provided some toiletries, a coffee maker, and a Grab Bag breakfast. I had a small room, but it was just me and just for one night. It's close to the famous Whiskey Row, so plenty of dining choices around. I would only suggest some slightly better pillows (though they gave me 4), and an extra blanket in the closet for those of us not used to cooler weather. And the price was the best thing of all! So affordable! When you just want a place to snooze after a busy day, you can't beat this! Very friendly employees, as well. Check-in was a breeze!"
