"My wife and I have been traveling up and down the PNW coast for a few years now, and stayed at dozens of hotels. The Bowline Hotel in Astoria is our new favorite! We checked in, fully intending to leave and explore Astoria, but after seeing the hotel and our rooms we decided to just stay in. The room was beautiful, with a great view of the river, and nice decor, as well as a large bath. We ended up not even leaving our room, just ordering room service (which was delicious) and some cocktails (also fantastic). Our room faced the river, and we woke up early enough to watch the sea lions that sleep under the pier swim out below our balcony, it was a fantastic experience! "
