Very very dirty . Broken toilet seat, tile missing in bathroom floor. Visible dirt on doors, floors and tables. Electric plug ins didn't work. Bed was comfortable. If we had not been so tired we would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. Front desk clerk was very nice.

Basic, economy motel

Staff great. Room refurbished. Bare feet were blackened by some sort of soot on the vinyl plank floor. Foam pillows were like sleeping on a brick. TV refrigerator & microwave fine. Noise level OK.

The staff was friendly. The place was acceptable but needs some work done. The room had a hole in the bathroom door and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the curtain rod was messed up. Otherwise my stay was good.

Fine on the road trip

This hotel is located on the main road to Chipley. Near the hotel, there are multiple fast-food chains, and a big Walmart. It is very near the highway. If your plan is to visit Washington county or you need a rest for the night on your way to/from Panama City Beach or Pensacola, this is a reasonable place to stay. I have stayed at Red Roof Inn's for more than 30 years. The brand stands, and the basics are available. The room was decent but requires a facelift.

The front desk lady was soooo sweet. But we had to switch rooms 2 times because the AC in the first room didnt work. The second one the water ran and made everything wet from the humidity. But she was so nice about it and moved us to another room. With great AC but the beds were hard. The outside of the place was dirty looking. Iv never stayed at red roof that was like this. Usually they are the best iv ever seen.

Great staff!

I could not be more pleased with the friendliness of the staff. That is very important! The room looked nice and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that would be an issue if l was going to nitpick is that the vent in the bathroom was dusty and there was a little dust buildup on the floor molding area around the toilet. We will probably stay there again in the future.

Could be better

If you’ve been on the road for 8 plus hours, out of it and need a place to “crash”, this place will do. The floors were sticky, had to wear socks around the room and they were brown after walking around a few minutes. The tv was slanted and fuzzy. Two of the lights flickered in the room no matter how much I tried to tighten them. The bed sunk in towards the middle, not great for the back after a long drive. The only plus was that the shower/tub was clean and the staff were nice. Not sure how the review is as high as it is.

We got EXACTLY what we paid for

Our stay was Good for the amount of time we spent. The cover for the air vent in the bathroom was missing, the back to the toilet seat was missing, an empty toilet paper roll was left in the bathroom, we had to figure the temperature gages in the bathtub. The beds are listed as queen sized, those were definitely Full Sized. Not even my kids were comfortable. There was a fridge, but no microwave. However, the staff was extremely friendly and professional and the property was well kept. They are also pet-friendly which is a plus ( since we were traveling with our fur baby as well. We stayed two nights and that was enough. The stay was good for the price, but next time I think we’ll pay the extra for comfort and better room upkeep and amenities

Well I was expecting basic and just hoping for clean.Initially I was pleased with cleanliness of room other than the comforter being a little stained. There was a tile floor which generally makes me feel better about a rooms cleanliness Then I looked at the bottom of my socks after walking around for less than an hour. And you can see the results by the picture below . So I would say if the room was cleaner I would give it and 8 or 9 overall(AC works well, fridge and microwave on room) but it's hard for me to get past how gross these floors are.
