The Pines is the perfect place to stay if you want something off the tourist path yet convenient to see sites in Southern England. It's a charming inn, a little shabby with lots of character. The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge and kettle; the bath was spacious. The Pines in very convenient to the rail station, an easy 10 minute walk. The host was extremely personable and helpful and went out of his way to accommodate my family. I would definitely stay here again.

I was greeted by a friendly member of staff upon arrival and was helpful with my requests. I was able to park at the front of the property. It would be nice to have the WIFI passcode in the room and also a lock on the door.

We never did stay here, we were dissapointed at the state of the front of the property, dirty, littered and in need of decorating. Inside was filthy and desperately in need of DIY. We left and stayed elsewhere.
