From the wonderful desk person, at check-in to walking in to our Clean, spacious room, comfy bed, quality Linens (personally, I loved the new plank type floors in the room as opposed to tired out carpeting in many other properties) ...to each morning Lovely Cheerful Hostess at Breakfast each morning as she wished me "Good Morning" with a happy voice&smile (btw-good breakfast) Day or evening IF passing a staff in the tasteful updated hallways...I/We received a personal kind acknowledgement Truthfully after Experiencing the dillegence of staff&property presentation: IT ALL FIT, Wow uplifted by a pleasant greeting, a smile often-NO not over the top The experience&interactions felt Genuine & SINCERE (staying here a Bonus is option to ask desk for 24/7 pass, available to River Valley Athletic Club) *I requested to meet the manager to inquire regarding a future more lengthy stay when returning to Stillwater as well as to share our joyous experience at this location "Joan" greeted me & continued to impresse me further yet Joan is attentive, professional, and demonstrated her down to earth deamenor The Owners, Management The staff at this property demonstrates Customer Service & it SHOWS Appreciatively extending OUR Thank you to Joan&Staff Well Done 💯"

"Convenient location, right downtown. Rooms on river side have views of Lowell Park, St. Croix River and the lift bridge. Rooftop restaurant and the Irish Pub at street level are both good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, comfy mattress and offer a variety of pillows so you can find one that suits. The balcony windows and chair cushions could've been cleaner, but they were acceptable."

"The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent, but isn’t that what we expect from the hotels we stand and if that is the standard then this is the review. The only concern with the hotels in Stillwater downtown is the pricing they feel that they could charge and that should be reviewed as they are too high."
