"We booked a room but did not know that there was a generator near our room and was loud. The staff upgraded us to an apartment after a couple of nights. Just a tip, book an apartment if you are thinking of staying here. Breakfast was ok since there’s no shops anywhere near this place. If you can rent a car, better but I think taxis go here. Water pressure was good as well as the wifi. If you miss fast food after eating pasta 3x a day, there’s fast food choices 15 mins away ie Burger King and...

"Stephano goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. The place was comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed getting to know our host and his city. The kitchen is well appointed with a well stocked wine rack. Read through the reviews, they are accurate! Comfortable bedding, lovely surroundings and, oh yes, a wonderful bakery across the street. "t was the best place I have stayed at for a long time. The owner made me feel very welcome and answered a query I had before I left Scotland very quickly. The location was superb, peaceful and photogenic. I had the whole place to myself and ate al fresco and took a swim in the pool. I arrived by foot the owner let me borrow a bike for the duration, this was very handy for me to ride to the train station and back. "

"This is supposed to be a super host as we only go to those that are. But this is a super duper host!! Alda is in a category of her own. We have so many great things to say about her. One example, my wife needed to see a doctor. I told Alda, and a few minutes later, we had the doctor knocking on our door!! She made us feel so welcome, helped us with the bags. Gave us lemons from her trees. Thanks Alda, we will miss you!"

"Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak. Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!"
