"The lodge is ideally located in central Chobe National Park (preferably access with small plane at Savuti). Great for day safari trip. The GM couple is extremely caring and the staff very attentive to your needs. It's an amazing place. Prefer to go on dry season, as during wet season (Jan-April) animals are more difficult to see and some roads are flooded"

"Great camping spot . Staff extremely friendly and accomodating . Our Guide BK excellent friendly and informative.Food camping style ."

"The place was nice great breakfast"

"Great location on the river with plenty of trees and shelter "

"Unfortunately, we had a very mixed stay, with overall disappointment. Starting with the positives, Nokanyana is in a very nice setting, the staff on the property (restaurant, front desk, support functions) were all exceptional - attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Where Nokanyana failed spectacularly is what actually mattered to us most given the location: game drives. Our driver / guide got stuck in sand, something that could happen to anybody (even...

"Nice property and very friendly staff. They went above and beyond. The food was great too. "

"Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. My husband managed to lose his phone and the guide was able to track that in the bush as well!!! It was a long day with two drives and we were there for 5 nights which was maybe one too many. We have...

"Enjoyed sitting by the pool watching wildlife. Nice clean tents. "

"Fantastic place location and staff … I do recommend"

"Simple campsite with all necessary amenities you need. Excellent location, very close to North Gate. Breakfast is yummy and substantial. Fantastic staff, Salomon was friendly and helpful, and proved to be an excellent guide in the field. Bonus point for the wild dogs behind the campsite! "

"The staff are wonderful, attentive, charming and incredibly helpful. The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching...
