The town on Beaune is beautiful and very easy to walk to from the hotel. There are plenty of dining options and some cute stores in the town, and it’s a great base to explore the Burgundy region. It’s convenient literally just off the motorway and when you arrive it’s so peaceful, spotlessly clean and just had a lovely vibe. I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. "The hotel is stunningly beautiful. MANY stairs. Not at all accessible for anyone unable to walk. Pool is lovely. We were provided with robes and slippers to wear down. The wine bar has a good selection with varying prices. We had the Santenay, Grand Cru. Staff were extremely polite and professional and spoke English. Parking was on the street a short walk from L’Abbaye."

"This hotel was an overnight stop on the way home from Holiday. They were clearly exactly that for most of the customers but did it really well. The hotel is aging a little bit but the staff were excellent and they catered really well for parents with kids, would definitely use it again when passing through."
