"It is nothing short of a privilege to be able to stay at Anchuca. A superb house with a wonderful heritage and history. The meal in the restaurant was wonderful, excellent food and great service. We would happily stay for a month. The bedroom was very well appointed and super comfy. Finally a special shout out to the breakfast server who talked with real depth of knowledge about the siege and the role that the house played during and after the siege. You would not be disappointed."

"Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!"

"The owners have done a great job of taking this old building and turning it into a lovely place. Speakeasy is a good term considering the doorway is between two businesses and can be easily overlooked. Then the long stairwell leads you up to this great apartment. Once inside, the loft is well-appointed with a lovely kitchen, living area, bedroom, and two very nice bathrooms. We would certainly stay here again!"
