Southern Porch Charmer - Walk to Downtown Main Street and Waterfront!

"My daughter and I spent a four-day weekend in Edenton at the Southern Porch Charmer which was a house from1920. The inside was beautiful and it was within walking distance to the lighthouse. There is a beautiful park by the lighthouse and it has a really nice playground for children and plenty of benches to just relax by the water. We ate dinner at a couple of different pubs and the food was good. Saturday night we ate at a small, brand new, Italian Restaurant called Carozza's on S. Broad St. and we had the best Eggplant Parmesan I have ever tasted and I am Italian. Sunday morning the only place open for breakfast was a small diner on South Broad St. so we ate there and the food was good and everyone was very pleasant. We would definitely recommend taking the trolley ride because we were told about all of the historic houses in the Town. Would highly recommend a trip to Edenton. "
