"This was a last minute weekend in Oct stay! I am so glad we found EXPLORE and they had availability!! We stayed in a studio cabin. We did not use any of the provided appliances so I cannot comment on those. Place was clean! Comfortable! Shower was perfect after a long day or two of hikes! There are a couple of trails on property which came in handy after our long drive up first day ! Will stay here again !!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Pines in Christmas, MI! It was the perfect cozy overnight stop on our trip across the UP. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer but our itinerary didn’t allow it— but we’ll be sure to come back and book this place again! It was a great set up for our family and we particularly enjoyed the living area for late night conversations, coffee (provided by host!) and breakfast at the kitchen table, and the scenic lake views with true fall colors! "

"We had an excellent stay here. Our favorite part of the hotel was the pool - perfect for our 3 year old as it only goes 3'6" and had a toddler waterslide. Breakfast had a good variety and staff was very courteous. Very quiet and felt safe while staying here. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend."
