"Our room faced the street. The curtains didn't cover all the windows so there was a lack of privacy. One of our blankets had a stain on it. We were given new blankets. There were small pieces of trash on the floor. I'd recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere else. It was okand what's to be expected for the price."

I called the number I had for the hostel and a woman answered, who said she'd send someone to open up. A guy arrived 10 minutes later. He'd been sleeping upstairs. Apparently there was a buzzer in the rooms I hadn't been told about that we were meant to use -- never saw it. It took him 20 minutes to open the door, to find the right key. Twenty minutes!
