The building is older, which is a cute aesthetic, but the main spaces are poorly lit and not cleaned thoroughly, stuff is stored everywhere as if the house were abandoned, and the restaurant service is not available. "The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "
