"This is one of the best equipt villas I have stayed in. Everything i wanted was there. The hot water supply was incredible as much hot water we wanted and at a good speed. View was timeless. Enough off street parking for 3 cars, bedrooms were a great size. Fantastic holiday all round . Thank you Amanda"

"I would 100% stay again. The property was in a fantastic location, easy walking distance from the local shops, restaurants and bars. The locals were incredibly friendly. The property was easy to find and it was quiet at night. The property was clean and the pool well maintained throughout our stay. This was an important family holiday and the property was the perfect setting."

"An amazing rural Spanish farmhouse. Host Maria was available immediately as and when needed. Our family had a wonderful time at this property and it was a shame we didn’t stay longer. The pool was clean and suitable size for 5 adults. The property was furnished simply but adequately. The drive from the main road up to the home was narrow but suitable for a large car. It was very private near the top of a hill. The views of the El Borge and all the neighbouring farms were exquisite and peaceful. Mango, lemon, fig trees as far as the eyes could see."
LA LIPA SUITES

"We stayed in the Viri Suite, which is part of La Lipa Suites. This was a 2-bedroomed, 2-bathroom, kitchen suite (m/wave, stove top, w/m, d/w, fridge/freezer, etc). Wifi and Smart TV. All air-con and ceiling fan. Accommodation was clean, modern and spacious. Beds were comfortable, and bed linen was fresh and looked lovely. Terrace was adequate size and appropriately furnished, although the view was limited. Occasional passers-by were friendly and weren't noisy or intrusive. We could have meals on the terrace without feeling socially awkward or 'on display'. Our host met us at the front of the property. She explained a few of the local tourist options, took our details, and showed us to our suite which was around the back of the building and down some steep stairs. There is a small supermarket just off the square in Almachar, which is more than adequate for provisions. A few small shops in Almachar also - but you'd have to hunt for them. Almachar is a mountain village and any local exploration will be met with a series of challenging uphill walks, and steep stairs. This also applies to the roads. If you're hiring a car it may be wise to consider an automatic if your clutch control and hill starts aren't on point. Similarly, DO NOT get a big car. The streets are very narrow. Although La Lipa Suites offered parking at the property, actually getting there was a bit of a stressor and we ended up parking on the main road into the village. Easily visit again, but smaller car."

"We had a lovely memorable holiday in this villa, which was perfect for our needs. The villa was very spacious and clean, as we were two families- 4 adults and 4 children. The outdoor space was excellent with everyone especially enjoying the heated pool and fantastic views. The bedrooms were comfortable to sleep in and the temperature was fine, we didn't actually have to use the air conditioning, which was in all the bedrooms. Isabelle and Jose were very helpful and easy to contact and responded back quickly.Comares was just a five minute drive away and we could see the village from the villa. We enjoyed meals at both Verde Oliva & Bar Pepa. The locals were very friendly particularly at the village store."

"We liked everything about the villa. Everything was clean. It was very well equipped. Very peaceful. Wonderful views. The heated pool was perfect for May. The beds were nice and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a kettle and coffee machine. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms and the kitchen. It's only 30 minutes from Velez Malaga which has lots of supermarkets.The location was excellent, just off a quiet tarmaced road. The pretty towns of Cutar and El Borge are on the same road and worth visiting. From the villa you can see Comares on a hill which is about 30 minutes away, the views from there are stunning. The communications from the host and representative were clear and concise."

"We hebben het heerlijk gehad in dit voormalige hotel met 7 kamers met allemaal een eigen badkamer en balkon, een wellness afdeling, spelletjes en een professionele keuken om maar wat te noemen.Het water in het zwembad was wel erg koud, dat had wat ons betreft wel verwarmd mogen zijn. Misschien een idee voor de toekomst?"
