"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

"Beautiful setting, views of the lake. Nice filling breakfast, we enjoyed thr bacon and scrambled eggs. The room was clean and almost lole ti was brand new. The espresso machine in the room was a welcoming treat. "

"Beautiful secluded house in the mountains. Stunning pool surrounded by flowers and the forested hills. The house is chic in a vintage modernist style, something that the kind owners are clearly proud of and happy to share with guests. It was a good space for our party of 6 and happy times spent exploring the Parc de Geres with lakes and waterfalls. Air con worked very well when needed, the kitchen is well equipped and several spaces to sit for dining and around the house. The theme of a 'Zen" space is very appropriate; we all felt calm and peaceful in this lovely spot, and dropped down to the small town often ( especially to visit the extraordinary Hotel Universal like something from a 1950s film!)Just a note for any guests with mobility issues - the glorious pool is accessed by a steepish slope up the rear garden.A very happy vacation spent here. "There were bedbugs in the bed i woke up with many bites all over my body it was terrible. The bathroom had mold and the matress and so hard i could barely sleep. Unfortunate because it seems like the place has a lot of potential if they did some work and a bit more effort for upkeep"
