"Location is glorious and the hotel itself is delightful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dining room is comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the meals is first class; not flashy nor pretentious just tasty, well-presented and excellent value. Rowton Castle is definitely on our list for a return visit! Highly recommended."

"The cottages were perfect for our party weekend. Plenty of glassware, crockery etc. and the kitchens had everything (and more) that we needed. Beds were really comfy and it was so peaceful we all slept really well. Such a fab big space so all 15 of us could eat together without any issues. Rebecca and Stewart were both really helpful with queries we had as we were getting along. Nothing!"

"Absolutely fabulous. The presentation is lovely, the sofa is marshmallow comfort and the kitchen is well-equipped (when you figure out the right setting for a conventional oven [instructions would be useful]). The heating was pre-set and couldnâ€™t be overridden but could have done with a being a touch warmer dawn & dusk as it did feel cold at times, but in general itâ€™s a fantastic property and we had a lovely relaxing break."

"We met up with family here for a birthday celebration for 3 nights. We honestly had the best time. The house is equipped with everything you need whilst staying in the house. We were greeted with a friendly face and was very helpful with an item we had forgotten to bring. The house is so well thought out. It caters for all ages. I love the fact it is disability accessible with a downstairs room with a wet room and even a rise and recline chair in the living room. The house is clean and very well presented. We would love to return!"

"Thank you for a perfect stay for our little family get away! We were amazed with how stunning and well equipped the pod was on arrival and our boys loved getting to hear the cows while we ate breakfast! The surrounding area is perfect for activities for all ages, we will definitely be staying again ðŸ˜Š"

"Beautiful house. Lovely bedrooms. Great space in the lounges. Fabulous space for kids to play in the garden.The water supply stopped at least once a day...told possibly air in the system pumping from the well. Kitchen had no storage for food that we bought ; fridges were lacking several shelves and all the door storage in the big fridge was removed. We had to wash all the mugs and some cutlery before use. Oven door didn't close properly on the one oven that worked properly, as the seal was broken. The few oven trays that were provided needed cleaning before using. Feeding 16 people for the week was challenging with no storage and lack of working oven space. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towels provided. Was great to get away with family and all enjoyed the hot tub. "
