"I really enjoyed this hotel - it is an experience! The rooms are comfortable, almost luxurious….the breakfast buffet is amazing, they have a nice spa/sauna, and a reasonable (albeit just essentials) gym. The neighborhood is quiet, so no noise, and easy walking distance to parts of Cologne. Note: the front desk is rarely staffed, which is a key gap in case of emergency needs or scheduling changes."

"Towels not clean. Floors were not cleaned, and we stayed almost 10 days. TERRIBLE POOR LIGHTING IN THE Room. If you book thru a 3rd party the property / Hilton does not award you ANY Hilton Honors rewards , this is so backwards.. why would I book this if I had know? Location is great and quiet BUT the experience has left us poor. It’s very dated and the rooms need a DESPERATE remake/ do-over etc. needs updating."

"The location is perfect it’s just in front of central station where you can go every where , but also so close to köln cathedral and old city on the Rhein River where all the beautiful sightseeing. My room was Comfort Room and it was adequate to my needs for me and my wife.thanks God that the weather was nice 20 Celsius so I didn’t feel hot as there’s no Aircondition. The staff are so nice and helpful. I do recommend for all cologne visitors. The price is reasonable. But I hope they will add mini bar (refrigerator) to the room."

"A great stay. Helpful welcoming staff. Sauna and pool were great (but perhaps need a more obvious translation of rules of German saunas for nieve Englishmen). Excellent buffet breakfast. Hotel is brilliantly situated to explore old town. Even lower cost rooms have a nice aspect, I imagine Rhine river view rooms are stunning."
