"Friendly and helpful staff but the place is a bit run down. There is a strong smell of cleaning products and the room on ground floor is very damp and moldy. I'd recommend looking in the never part of town; east of the train station "

"Comfortable room with shared breakfast room. Walk to old town further than expected but was good exercise. Having to walk to a cafe to get a croissant for breakfast is not my idea of B&B. Enjoyable stay overall."

"Clean, good to communicate with. Bed and shower ok and breakfast enough to set you up for a days mooching around. Not easy to find off Android auto, turn off the main road and find the tire garage the door is behind you near a little park. Look up for the sign. Its 2 and a half clicks easy walk to the port for a boat trip, great trattoria nearby named La Golosa."

"Salvador was the most perfect host he was helpful, friendly, kind,attentive nothing was to much trouble. Kantune is in the perfect location 3 minutes to port and 10 minutes to city centre,it’s clean extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much would highly recommend "

"This is a cute B&B that fits the description perfectly. We only stayed one night, and it was extremely comfortable. The AC worked flawlessly, and the bed was very comfortable. The communications with the host were excellent, and she answered all of our questions. Highly recommended."

"Valentina is an excellent host to homely B&B that is kept clean and tidy.Garden provides ingredients to home cooked meals available on request in the evening.Accommodating and friendly family.A hire car would facilitate easy access to other locations .Local buses from the village square (10 minutes on foot ) to Trapani .Enjoyed my stay in what is a rural location .Grazie!"

"Nice apartment with great balcony view of the archeological park and Mediterranean Sea beyond. Opening the other balcony at the front side creates nice cross ventilation. The facilities have been well cared for. Great spaces. Nice decor. However, there was no hot water. I couldn't make use of the WIFI."

"Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, der Betreiber des B&B sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gestört hat mich, dass das Bad nicht im Zimmer war sondern nur über den Flur erreichbar war. Das war der Hotelbeschreibung vorher nicht zu entnehmen. Und das "große Frühstück", von dem darin die Rede war, bestand aus einem Kaffee und einem Croissant. Beides war zudem nur mit einem täglich neu ausgegebenem Voucher in einer nahegelegenen Bar zu bekommen. Vielleicht bin ich ja zu anspruchsvoll, schließlich...

The suite was decorated in antiques and thoughtfully stocked with such things as personal bug spray, water, creamers/tea, etc. The "free parking" was on the public streets and square but the owner assisted us in making sure we were not in the wrong place at the wrong time. "Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!"
