While the rooms lack the latest/modern amenities (including AC), they make up for it with loads of character and charm and were perfect for our adult family of 4. "The most beautiful and magical place on earth. We video called every family member back home in Canada while at the hotel to show them the grounds. The hotel is nothing short of amazing. From the pools, to the gardens, doves, chicken, tennis courts, the walking paths and even an equestrian center. I am so sad that we did not have more time to spend there. 100+ recommend this property. My husband and I went for a before dinner drinks and the waiter brought us bread and oil and picked us fresh strawberries from the garden. Absolutely in love with this place and no hotel along our journey if Italy has compared. "

"Beautiful setting, an incredible building with history. The pool is wonderful with a fabulous view. Breakfast caters for everyone with a super variety of pastries, eggs, bacon, cold meats and cheeses. The rooms are very large and comfortable with all the facilities you’d need.. take milk at breakfast if you like it with hot drinks in your room. There is an honesty room where you can purchase drinks and crisps… just fill out the slip. It’s difficult to get your cases up to the main building from the carpark. The restaurant has limited hours ( we may be out of season) but there are some fabulous places to eat in Greve. Beautiful little chapel on-site. The staff are wonderful and the standard of cleanliness is exceptional. If you want peace, views and a good book this is your place. Fabulous "
