"An excellent location for an overnight stay en route to Portugal, with amazing views and plenty of space to relax and unwind after many hours in the car. The owners were friendly and very accommodating - providing recommendations for dinner and things to do. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and the continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. "

"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "An absolutely brilliant hotel. The staff were so lovely. The hotel is really modern and chilled. Best shower and beds. Location is spectacular. Couldn't be better. Booking an Apex hotel again. They were great. And Bilbao. What a city "
