Not clean - loud area on weekends
Our stay started with over 30 stairs that we weren't aware of. The unit was not clean and furniture was broken. No response for late checkout request. Near multiples bars that created a lot of noise on the weekend. Awaken to gunshots only to discover the next morning that three people were shot on our street and a blood trail was going up our sidewalk. Parking was crazy. Two young men were walking by looking inside all the parked cars. I would not recommend staying here. We thought it was a great location initially, but when the weekend came we found out different.

Disappointing to say the least
Floors were un-swept. I had to sweep myself before I would take my shoes off. The main floor bath had short curly hairs on the sink. Upstairs couch is broken. Upstairs A/C window unit not secure, can push window open. No bath or hand towels provided. Says 4 bathrooms, 2 full/2 halfs. There are only 2 full baths. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for the whole house. Only 4 beds, not the 5 stated in the listing. Porch furniture busted, totally unusable. The main floor bedroom has NO door. I was able to change the thermostat. But I would set at 68, but then it would change to 72 throughout the day. Most plugs only the lower plug worked, if at all. Found a metal nose ring on the first bed upstairs. It was on the fitted sheet under the comforter in the made up bed. That bed, bed #2 upstairs, and the main floor queen all appeared to have grass pieces in them. I had to wipe off each bed just to get in. All 4 of the beds do not have top sheets between your body and the comforter. 2 windows, on the fire escape, were wide open when we arrived. We have no idea how long they were open. Animals, bugs, squatters, etc..could have been in here. I had to search the entire place top to bottom before I let my family go anywhere in the house to make sure it was safe. I did like the location. Close to public transit, grocery stores and restaurants. It was very spacious for the cost. The pool table was in very poor condition, but it was still usable. Although dirty, the beds were comfortable

I was unsatisfied with our stay. Upon arrival I was not able to contact anyone regarding parking, the kitchen was not properly cleaned (crumbs on the counter by sink and on the stove, old food and crumbs in the bottom of the oven) the floors through out were dirty, there were no trash bags in any of the small trash cans, there was a used dish sponge left on the kitchen sink and no new one to be used, no top sheets on any of the beds, there were no dish towels/dish rags, the couch upstairs of the unit was broken and the upstairs sleeping quarters was uncomfortably hot. Parking is supposed to be included in the stay but I was unable to find an open parking spot on the road so I had to pay for hourly parking and walk outside frequently to see if there was an open spot yet. When I presented this to the person overseeing the property I was told it was out of their control and I would have to either pay by the hour to park in a lot or drive a couple streets over in search of parking. When I addressed the HVAC issue I was told the thermostat had to remain set in the 70s (it was high 80s/low 90s outside) and that they would have box fans delivered. Upstairs of the unit was almost 90° where most of my family would have to sleep. When I tried to turn the thermostat down to attempt to try and cool the upstairs a little, they locked it and set it to cool to 67 for one hour and than back to 73 where I was unable to adjust it. I will not book with Travers again and will not recommend them

Soccer Fans: This is your place!
The location of this property is unmatched. With NY style pizza, a bourbon bar, great night life, a European football pub across the street, and a short walk to great breakfast and the soccer stadium. If you’re in town for a match, make this your stay.

What a great space. Accommodated all of us. Nice open space upstairs and downstairs. Located within walking distance of almost anything you would want to see in OTR. Very enjoyable.
