A very nice chalet over the Douro valley

The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Note that the seventh bed is in the corridor. The rooms are small but fine with good bedding. We had a nice time hiking around the area, enjoying the cascades in the streams down Cinfaes. The roadbook provided by the owner is very useful. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Rustic cottage…

Get ready for a step back in time. It’s a quaint little cottage in a wooded location. It has everything listed along with some great views. It is a secluded location but there are a number of activities for your doing.

Delightful rural cabin/home

This cabin is a beautiful 2 floor home with three bedrooms, 2 baths and comfortable living and dining areas. It is clearly a beloved retreat for the owner as there are many antiques and curiosities to be seen and enjoyed. There was a fireplace to use in the evenings, a very well equipped kitchen with full size fridge and gas stove. The location is out of town with easy access to hiking, and a nice outside balcony to enjoy the views. The owner provides a very helpful book of local activities to consider and restaurants to be tried. With Google Maps we were able to navigate the narrow and winding roads and find our way to the local spots of interest. There is plenty of room for a family and it also felt just right for us as a couple.

Havre de paix

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la maison et son environnement. Merci à Theresa pour l'accueil. Nous conseillons le restaurant de Gralheira , proposé par Paulo, où nous avons dégusté entre autres du cabri. La N222 vaut aussi le coup d'être empruntée pour ses vues sur le Douro. Attention ça tourne tout le temps.

Séjour juillet 2023

Nous nous sommes reposés et avons profité de la région : Porto, Braga, Aveiro, le pont suspendu à Arouca, .... Quelques randonnées et baignades. Le logement est conforme à sa description avec un coucher de soleil depuis l'arrière de la maison. Celui-ci est équipé pour passer un bon séjour.

Fijn huisje in een mooie omgeving

Huisje lag in een mooie, groene omgeving. Alles was aanwezig. Tevens meer dan voldoende handdoeken. Mooi uitzicht, rust! De eigenaar is erg attent en vriendelijk. Reageert snel als je hem nodig hebt. Biedt alle hulp. De bakker komt iedere morgen met verse broodjes, genieten!

Wunderschönes Haus - tolle Lage

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen im Haus und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr familiär. September ist die perfekte Zeit. Die Abende auf dem Balkon mit gutem Portwein werden wir nicht vergessen. Wenn ich etwas bemängeln würde, dann lediglich, dass die Geschirrspülmaschine etwas schwierig zu öffnen ist, weil die Front nicht mehr ganz fest ist. Ansonsten war es perfekt, inklusive der Besuche der Nachbarshunde. Vorsicht - die nehmen gerne mal einen Schuh mit als Souvenier ;-). Und der morgendliche Bäckerbesuch ist immer wieder unterhaltsam. Vielen Dank Paulo für eine schöne Zeit.

Super séjour

Une semaine innoubliable dans cette maison "du bout du monde". Maison a la campagne dans un havre de verdure sous les arbres. Une vue incroyable avec de magnifiques couchés de soleil. Eau de source proche et consommable appréciable.Depaysement assuré je recommande pour les amoureux de la nature. Malgré tout les commodités sont a proximité en voiture et nous avons pu assisté à la foire agricole de Cinfaes très animée. Rivières et baignades assurées dans des cadres splendides. Peaceful Countryside retreat

This authentic country side property is nestled in a small farming village. Paulo was easy to communicate with and the property manager Lucinda was there waiting for us upon our arrival. The house is well furnished and has everything you need. The magnificent sunsets are a bonus!! The village is small, and things seemed to close up early if you are looking to go out for dinner. T We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and disappointed we did not plan to stay an extra day or two.

Um local central para visitar os arredores, Cinfães, serra de Montemuro, Arouca, passadiço do Paiva, douro vimhateiro entre outros. Mas, também muito tranquilo, um local psra apreciar a paisagem o silêncio e as estrelas.

Casa do Pinheiro

Foi muito agradável passar a semana na casa do Pinheiro. A zona é óptima para grandes passeios na natureza e ao fim do dia sabe muitíssimo bem regressar à casa confortável e ao encanto da lareira. O Paulo muito atencioso e a dar todo o apoio. Para voltar, sem dúvida. Obrigada

Ruim stenen huis met 3 slaapkamers, volledig geïnstalleerde keuken en badkamer, salon, terras en balkon met zicht op de vallei. Verschillende grote supermarkten op ongeveer 3 km.

Home from home

We have been renting holiday homes in France, Spain and Portugal for about 25 years. These days 3 generations holiday together (with kids and grand kids). We can honestly say that this holiday house is in the top 3. It is so well equipped it really is like being at home. It is also very clean. We all slept so well, the beds and sheets are very comfortable and the rooms are dark and quiet. It is situated about 15 mins drive from the Douro and we spend most of our days on one of the many picturesque beaches. The supermarket is only 5 minutes drive which is very convenient. Paulo is a lovely host, very efficient, accommodating and flexible with check in and check out times. We have never returned to a holiday house as we like to discover new regions but this house might make us change this rule 😊 Thanks Paulo.

Vacances CINFAES

Très belle maison avec beaucoup de charme -l'endroit est magnifique au milieu des montagnes beaucoup de randonnées à faire. Les baignades dans les fleuves alentours sont très agréables avec un cadre exceptionnel. Le book en français que nous transmis Paulo nous a beaucoup servi pour visiter le Portugal. Propriétaire très gentil et disponible en cas de besoin.

Uriges Ferienhaus in nahezu Alleinlage

Das Ferienhaus ist komplett ausgestattet und man 100% seine Ruhe😎. Der Anfahrtsweg zum Haus ist ein wenig abenteuerlich .Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Berge 🏔 .Es ist genug Platz für 6-7 Personen. In 10-20 min Fahrtzeit findet man Supermarkt, Bahnhof z.B. um nach Porto zu kommen und natürlich viel Natur zum wandern und Baden.
