"We stayed during the soft opening for 7 nights. It was around national holidays too so the hotel was at full capacity. Things I love: The hotel is clean. Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta

6/10 Okay

"I paid for a Bundaran HI view, but they initially placed me on Level 1 with a view of only trees. It was only after I complained at the reception that they transferred me to Level 7 the following day. Additionally, although I paid for an extra bed, they did not provide an extra towel, forcing me to ask for one. There was also no shoehorn in the room until I requested that as well. The housekeeping staff should thoroughly check the amenities in the room beforehand for the guest's convenience, rather than making us ask for basic items. This is my first inconvenient experience with Kempinski, following my last visit two years ago. Kempinski has always been my number-one choice, but this stay has left me with a very poor impression. I am deeply disappointed this time."

Staff were friendly and helpful We came before check in and our room wasn't ready, so they told us to wait at level 26 at the club lounge. And they served us drinks and afternoon snacks, so delightful"

"Clean room. But definitely outdated. Not what I expected for St Regis standards. Sockets fell out of the wall, safe in room wasn’t working, fixtures were installed slanted and there wasn’t much attention to detail. I left feeling wanting more. Best thing about staying here was definitely the bar. Visited on all nights we stayed here. Amazing live music. However, Toilets at the bar were in a horrible state by the end of the night and you could tell it wasn’t cleaned all night. Good variety of food at breakfast but overcrowded. Felt less like a luxury hotel and more like a business hotel."
