"The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. "The owner, Giacomo, was the friendliest and most helpful host. He welcomed us at the beginning, left us with a detailed itinerary for the area and beyond. The pool was cleaned by him midweek, and he was there on hand by WhatsApp with answers to our Q's. The villa is lovely and cool which is very welcome in the heat.
