"We loved this hotel, it was a 9 minute walk from the main train station (and the 840 bus that runs to the Salt Mine, Berchtesgaden and the Konigsee boat excursions). It is also right down the street from Mirabell Palace and all the excursions that run from there. The room was super quiet on the back side of the hotel and it was spacious. Double sinks in the bathroom and a separate WC. We didn't eat at the roof deck restaurant, but had drinks up there admiring the view over the city. Also loved...

"I was really pleased with my stay at Hotel Krone. The location is lovely, in the centre of Salzburg but just slightly over the bridge from the most touristy part. I loved that my room had a view of the cobbled street and church tower! My single room had everything I needed. Yes, the decor was perhaps old fashioned, but the bathroom was very modern and everything was very clean. Considering the facilities, location and price, I would definitely stay there again. "
