"Bis auf wenige Ausnahmen lĂ€sst das Haus und die Einrichtung kaum WĂŒnsche offen. Vielleicht wĂ€re es ganz gut Grundzutaten wie Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer undEssig & Öl dort zu deponieren. Und im Bad und der Dusche fehlt es an AufhĂ€nge- und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Pool ist wirklich toll. Aber es ist ein wenig nervig dass man selbst Chlor nachfĂŒllen muss damit das Wasser sauber bleibt. Toll ist der weitlĂ€ufige Garten und die sehr ruhige Umgebung. Auch fĂŒr 2 Familien ideal, da auf dem großen eingezĂ€unten GrundstĂŒck 2 wunderschöne HolzhĂ€user stehen. Wir haben hier 2 sehr erholsame Wochen mit 8 Personen zwischen 17 und 60 Jahren verbracht. Alles was man braucht ist in 10 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen. Strand, Wald, Markt, BĂ€cker, Supermarkt, einfach perfekt! Vielen Dank!!"

"Very nice stay. Neighbours were fab. V helpful but stayed put of the way for privacy too. Was a bit disappointed with bar b q. All decking so probably dangerous to have a proper one. What was there was a small chiminee plus a small electric one, neither great . Otherwise house was very good. V well organised and kitted out. Thank you !!"

Mitten im Weinanbaugebiet des MĂ©doc und doch nicht weit von den OzeanstrĂ€nden liegt der kleine Ort Jau. Die Gastgeberin Michelle Destrade ist immer ansprechbar und ausnehmend freundlich, ebenso wie die netten Nachbarn. "We travelled 4 weeks through France. From Paris to St Tropez and back to Bordeaux and stayed at 8 hotels (all 5Star) This was our favourite by far. The personal touches, the amazing staff and the Chateau itself are all impeccable. Antony without prompting arranged our dinner and lunches as well as wine tasting locally. Nothing was too difficult and everyone from breakfast service to evening drink service couldn’t be more delightful. This will be our first stop on our next trip. "
