"We spent a lovely night in the Emerald Suite. The hosts greeted us on arrival and explained all the amenities, as well as answering a few questions about nearby activities. The room is spacious, comfortable and brand new. The bed is excellent and the shower and bath have great water pressure. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good night's sleep at a family-owned establishment off the beaten track. "

Sinon personnel au petit déjeuner attentionné."

"Car parking = ridiculous! A very small underground car park, tiny spaces, cars parked over lines, staff didn't charge in advance as they didn't know if there was space..... Ended up having to park in the expo car park opposite at over 50 euros for the night. If I had known about the car parking situation I would have booked elsewhere. Room was acceptable - normal ibis standard"

"We hate staying in mediocre box rooms in hotels on the edge of a town. To find somewhere with such character is a treat. We stayed in the Chambertin room which has the bedroom in the arched basement. The stairs are a little steep but it was a wonderful place. William is an excellent host. Polite, charming, and answered all our questions before we stayed. The room was really clean and he had left out some tea and coffee for us. The bedding and towels were high quality and smelled beautifully of laundry powder. The kitchen is small but efficient. It’s enough to make some simple meals in and equipped with a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee machine. The building is two minutes from the centre of Nuits-Saint-George. The Main Street has a couple of nice and reasonably priced cafes. There are plenty of wine merchants to visit plus there are several independent producers within a 5 minute walk from the front door. Parking is available on the street and there is a car park 150m away that wasn’t very busy. Wonderful stay and I can recommend highly."

"Habitación super limpia,todo nuevo,cama muy cómoda,recepción muy amable, si necesitas cualquier cosa, solo necesitas pedirlo,como por ejemplo un secador de pelo. Lo único que encontre muy justito fue el desayuno, ya que solo disponían de algunas pastas tipo croissant y dulces, mermeladas varias, y tres tipos de cereales."

"It is a very nice hotel overlooking a really beautiful medieval town. The staff were genuinely very nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant was awesome and reasonably priced and the breakfast was very good too. The swimming pool is great and was open late enough to enjoy it even after a day on the road. We will definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Our only regret was not to stay longer."

"The renovations to the main buildings over the last 2 years have been done to a very high standard. Rooms are modern and now have the benefit of good air conditioning. Restaurant areas are much improved and food remains excellent. The breakfast room is a delight and breakfast food is of a high standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the hotel has two significant problems at the moment. Firstly the large garden to the front of the house is in very poor condition. Previously this was a magnificent lawned area that complimented the grandeur of the main building, but now it looks wild and out of control. Secondly, disabled access is poor. Both the front and back of the main building are now largely pedestrianised. Previously it was possible to drop off a disabled person at the front and back doors of the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub lack any handrails for use by a disabled person. The bathroom for the designated disabled bedroom is not easy to use and has fundamental design mistakes."
